ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility for the grant is subject to meeting the following requirements. We suggest you read these requirements carefully before starting the application:
To qualify for an Impact 100 Men Palm Beach County grant, an applicant must be a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and designated as such for 24 months as of the closing date of the current LOI.
Impact 100 Men will fund up to $75,000 of a project submitted. However, Impact 100 Men may choose to fund a lesser amount than the requested amount. The project may be larger than $50.000 and include other funders The total amount of the project and total monetary contribution of other funders is required information.
The proposed project or program must be implemented in and serve the residents of south Palm Beach County within the boundaries of Lake Worth Road south to the Broward County line, and from the Atlantic Ocean west to the Palm Beach County line. The entire grant must be used in this geographic area.
The project can only address the needs of children 16 and under. The project focus must be one of the following:
Education
Arts and Culture
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
Physical or Mental Health
Organizations must use the full of the grant amount within 24 months of award date.
The project may be new, an expansion of an existing program, or may be a collaborative effort of several agencies.
The project must have a high impact and transformative effect on the organization and/or the community it serves.
Recipients of an Impact 100 Men Palm Beach County grant will not be eligible to reapply for another Impact 100 Men Palm Beach County grant for at least 24 months from the date the grant is awarded (i.e. an organization selected in 2024-25 may not reapply until 2028).
EXCLUSIONS
Impact 100 Men Palm Beach County does not accept grant applications to support:
Activities outside our 4 focus areas
Projects less than $50,000
Programs that take place outside of our geographic area
General operating support or overhead
Debt reduction or operational deficits
Fundraising campaigns or events
Endowments or memorials
Bridge funding or interim financing
Partisan or political activities
Sectarian religious projects promoting religion
Legal expenses
Travel expenses
Loans
Grants to individuals or private foundations
Capital Campaigns*
*Capital Campaigns are defined as efforts to raise significant funds for a specific project including, but not limited to, the acquisition, construction, or renovation of a building, or for the purchase of essential equipment. Any grant requests for funding the strategic planning, fundraising and marketing efforts of a capital project will not be allowed. However, Impact 100 Men Palm Beach County will permit grant requests for capital projects that meet the following criteria: a) the specific use of grant funds for a capital project are clearly identified and itemized in the Letter of Intent; b) the grant funds will not go toward any marketing and/or fundraising efforts of the capital project; c) the capital project specified in the Letter of Intent must be scheduled for completion within 2 years of receiving the grant; and d) the grant request meets all current and standard Impact 100 Palm Beach County grant criteria.
DISCRIMINATION
Impact 100 Men Palm Beach County does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sexual preference, or national origin. Applicants for grants from Impact 100 Palm Beach County must hold similar standards. Therefore, competitive grant applications from organizations known to have discriminatory policies will not be considered.
